Practicing Better Boundaries

If you feel imprisoned by

  • a person,
  • a situation,
  • a group, or
  • an idea,

walk away, let it go, let it separate from you without judging it or defending yourself. Sometimes, when releasing an outer situation may not be possible (a bad job or marriage, for example), it’s still possible to bring an end to the expectations that keep you attached, ruining your boundaries.

You’ll feel lonely at first, but just hang out with that for a little while. There’s much, much more that’s okay with you than you think.
